The south-west of Gran Canaria has more than three hundred days of sun a year, steady light winds and a calm sea. That is why everything here runs almost all year round, and why none of it needs experience.
What you can do
Parasailing
Fly up to eighty metres above the Atlantic with the whole south coast below you. Take-off and landing are from the boat platform, so you need not get wet, and you fly in a harness and a certified life jacket. From eight years old. 50 € per person.
Snorkelling
Volcanic seabeds, tropical fish and, with luck, a turtle. Equipment is included and the stops are chosen on the day depending on where the water is clearest.
Jet skis
Along the coast at speed. No licence required.
